LESSON 5. Use a tool that has an order book and depth chart. ESPECIALLY if you plan on any short term buying & selling for profit. I started out on coinbase.com and went all in on LRC at the moment of its ATH. On coinbase.com all you see is a line chart going straight up. On pro.coinbase.com I would have likely seen that everyone was about to sell off (not to mention lower transaction fees). It took me a long time to make back that money!! An order book allows you to place buy & sell commands at a limit (or target) price. You can place your orders & go to sleep or got to work without worry about having to check things constantly. A depth chart is a measure of all these limit orders on the books, and allows you to see at what price point others are planning to buy or sell. Example below:.
