But then, having an internal IT team who manages all of the tech for the business, IE. Laptop/Desktop deployment, managing meeting rooms, printers etc. Moving those people into different teams will cause a clash. You end up with loads of shadow IT things happening. Dave from marketing wants to use monday.com for their project management but Sally from HR want's to use Jira.. Who makes that final call to say "this is the platform that internal teams use within said business". You will also end up with loads of people using different hardware, who supports it all when it goes wrong? Who supports the Anti Virus.. etc. The list is endless.
