Augmented Steam

The best first PC game storefront (IMO) is Steam. There is a browser extension called Augmented Steam which allows you to add shortcuts on Steam pages that open the store page on the Steam client, compare prices from different countries, and hide wishlisted/ignored games. Team Fortress 2 and CSGO are free-to-play and are some good starting games, though CSGO has a higher skill gap. There's also GOG.com which has DRM-free games and its own launcher GOG Galaxy 2.0. Epic Games Launcher is seen as the worst of the launchers due to its lack of basic features like a shopping card and user reviews. The free game of the week is a good way to see if the game is worth buying on Steam though.
