SSL VPN 2FA not receiving activation email

Hey everyone, I'm trying to activate 2FA for my SSL VPN but so far without success. The VPN itself works perfectly, but I want to add another layer of security by adding 2FA. I have 2 mobile tokens in my GUI, I added the token to a user (user has email address filled in) and clicked "send activation code email". I've waited a few hours but haven't received anything yet, not even in spam or an other email address. I've tried a yahoo.com, outlook.com and gmail.com address.

Mailgun

I've swapped to using mailgun.com instead of using the Fortinet email services, it's still slow sometimes, but more reliable.
