Which city is the best to move into the United States?

I discovered the US job scene through triplebyte.com. They arranged meetings and paid to fly me over for them. I also interviewed at google. I didn't know the first thing about the US or Silicon Valley so it was all a huge shock to me. I'm potentially a bit more senior (10+ yoe), so that might have helped.

You have to be pretty sharp, but not exceptional. You certainly don't need to be niche. Most people are just generalists. It is kind of a bad joke, but just make sure you do lots of leetcode.com before interviewing, and read up about the interviewing process here. If you can do well at that you shouldn't have a problem. Read up about the Google interview process, as it is pretty standardized. Read levels.fyi if you want to start drooling.
