    For OS, I usually suggest to stick with what you're used to. BUT, since you did say you are open to learning Linux, I can suggest Linux. I switched from Windows 10 to Linux Mint. I also changed the Hard drives to use ext4 instead of NTFS. You would have to transfer files off the drives first before converting, if you choose. I chose to do that. With the amount of data, it took me a while. Since the change, I have noticed less RAM usage on Linux vs Windows 10. I only use it for Plex Server and the Plex add-ons (Radarr/Sonarr/Ombi/Tautulli/etc). Overall, it just feels a bit smoother than Windows as well. The ext4 vs NTFS also feels more stable.
