Looking for an easy to install note taking app

Turtl

I used Turtl some years back to help with my reliance on Google Keep. Https://turtlapp.com/ It was nice, actually, even though it was a real pain to get set up. I think I actually had to mess with Lisp for the first time in my life getting Turtl set up. But after I screwed something up on the VM it was running on, I never fixed it. I think there's some docker containers for Turtl now that make it a lot easier to set up and maintain, though. Anyway, I think it was re-written in Node if I'm not mistaken. But I think it's worth taking a look, if you're looking for something close to a Google Keep/Evernote style.
