    I played a lot of board games when I was a child. As long as I can remember, Monopoly and Taboo were the most popular board games back then, and probably still are. However, I used to like them, but there were many other fun games besides these. For example, Battleship is a strategy type guessing game based on coordinates, which was one of my favorite ones. My other favorite game was Quick Draw (or also known as Pictionary), which is a kind of Taboo game, but only with drawing. There are also browser versions of this board game, called gartic.io and skribbl.io.
