Get Vital[0]. It has been exceptionally difficult to teach modern sound design to people without forcing them to buy expensive digital (or physical) synthesizers to learn on. Vital changed that. It democratized nearly every feature you might come across in a modern synth, and it does so better than the industry leaders (Vital kicks Massive's ass, same for Serum).
