Note - AdGuard DNS and the AdGuard app and the AdGuard DNS servers are not the same thing. As you look at AdGuard DNS servers you will be presented with a lot of opportunities to spend money.

They're advertising on this sub? They can go fuck themselves. I've got ad-blocking enabled (and mods can't see ads on their own subs anyway) so I had no idea. I super recommend ublock origin for ad and content blocking.
  4. Ad blocker for Chrome, Safari and Opera on desktop and Safari for iOS devices.

1337x saying I need a VPN? about about 2 months ago

This issue just appeared today, I've never seen it before. I'm using NordVPN with kill switch enabled, and I already checked with https://www.iplocation.net/ and http://checkmyip.torrentprivacy.com/ to confirm I'm routing all traffic through the VPN. I tried getting a new IP from Nord, but it still didn't fix it. I'm using this ad block plugin in chrome https://getadblock.com/en/ , so I don't think this is an ad.
  5. Privacy tool for transparency and control

  6. Windscribe is a desktop application and browser extension that work together to block ads and trackers, restore access to blocked content and help you safeguard your privacy online.

Anyone know a truly free VPN that is at least half decent? about 17 days ago

I use WindScribe for free temporary VPN needs. It gives you 10 GB per month of free use if you opt-in to their mailing list (I use a dedicated email account for this). But yeah, 10 GB isn't much. I use it mainly to watch short geo-locked YouTube videos.
