2FAS is a very solid MFA; Bitwarden is designed to be a password manager, so I wouldn't suggest using it as a 2fa. Keep it separate imho. Source: 5 months ago
> Is there anything as good as Firefox with UBO? The DuckDuckGo iOS app blocks ADs and trackers. Also ADGuard Pro can block stuff at the network level. It only costs $10.00 for a one time purchase. > My main concerns are will 2FA break? Make sure to export your QR code TOTP seed images into a new iOS app. Most TOTP apps allow you to do this. 2FAS is the popular go-to nowadays. Open-source and free. Works with iOS and Android. It also has extensions for all the major browsers. Source: 8 months ago
Use 2FA for Reddit, exchanges, even email (for example: 2FAS). Source: 10 months ago
I'm going to read about 2FAS (https://2fas.com) and Aegis (https://getaegis.app). Source: 11 months ago
I use https://2fas.com which is open-source and available for all devices. Source: 12 months ago
Disabling and re-enabling 2-step verification usually fixes this (don't use SMS, always use an authenticator app such as 2FAS). Source: 12 months ago
2FAS all the way! Open-source, secure, private and simple! Source: 12 months ago
2FAS is also open source and supports encrypted backups for synching across devices (though user beware: it defaults to unencrypted). Source: about 1 year ago
After my phone was stolen last month, I switched to https://2fas.com and couldn't be any happier. It's free, open source and has tons of great features. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
If you want Google drive backup, try https://2fas.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
The article suggests that users install Google Authenticator for 2FA, but I would suggest looking elsewhere. The developers pushed a change sometime within the last year where the app takes several seconds to respond when you first open it as well as when the codes refresh I have recently switched to 2FAS (https://2fas.com/#) which has been much more responsive so far. I'm also interested in hearing if anyone has... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Our org is using a mix of Google Authenticator and Authy, but I am currently trialing https://2fas.com/ which is an opensource application that work with iOS backups. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
2FAS is a good one, open source and has cloud sync. Aegis Authenticator is a big favourite in the security/privacy/open source world, has cloud back up as well via android backups iirc. Source: about 1 year ago
I advise you to combine any password manager you chose with a 2-Factor Authentication app, I use 2FAS, but many prefer Aegis Authenticator. Both are good, there are many others too - but most people I've heard complain about Google Authenticator, so o stay away from it lol. Source: about 1 year ago
I use https://2fas.com/ you can back up your keys with them. Source: over 1 year ago
2FAS for me. Simple, good interface, no cloud. Keys can be exported so you can use with multiple devices. Can auto backup to hidden folder in Google drive in case you plan a catastrophe scenario. Source: over 1 year ago
Sorry, I couldn't find any info on this. Does anybody know if 2FAS' Cloud Backups are encrypted? And exactly where does the backup gets stored in iCloud? Source: over 1 year ago
I'm trying to find a comparison between 2FAS and Raivo, both of which I've heard good things about, but I can't seem to find anything that makes one better than the other. I'm moving out of Authy right now, so I'd like to know what my options are for this. Does anyone have experience with either or both and can recommend one of them? Source: over 1 year ago
Well, I guess we should use physical security keys like Yubico or an offline 2FA app like 2FAS for TOTP. SMS OTPs are the most vulnerable of these MFA methods, as someone from telco and bank employees can easily edit your CIF. Source: over 2 years ago
I would say it is totally fine to store OTP tokens on Bitwarden and very convenient as well. But if you use a secondary app for OTP tokens I recommend "2FAS" from google store https://2fas.com/ you can read the reviews in google store. Take a look, its very high ranked, higher than authy. Very clean, simple, manual back encrypted ups and google driven hidden and protected back up, only accessible by the app. Source: over 2 years ago
