For password management, including TOTP codes, I've been using 1Password for several years. It works very well for logging into my Proton account, as well as several dozen other services which offer TOTP but don't offer FIDO/U2F/WebAuthn yet. I trust their description of how their encryption works (fully E2E, 1Password employees cryptographically have no access to information stored in my account). And the annual subscription price is worth it to me, for the convenience of being able to access my passwords from any of my devices, including a Linux workstation.
