I wouldn't recommend Nazaré for a beginner. If you're in Lisbon it's best if you check in windguru.cz if you can understand the swell sizes + wind and go to Praia de Carvavelos for example. (Very big sand beach where there's a lot of schools and newbies. Source: about 1 year ago
