For hosting, if you want reliability over everything else, WP Enginge is probably your best bet. It's on the pricier side, though. I didn't use any other hosting besides local German companies yet, so I cannot recommend anything else. Source: 12 months ago
Transfer is super easy... wpengine.com is my favorite for WP sites. They handle backups and have security options and can handle plugin updates. Source: about 1 year ago
Go for a managed wordpress host. VPS is fine, but not any old host- find someone that does wordpress hosting and does it well, and has higher up tiers that will give you white glove service. Something like https://wpengine.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
Go ahead to wordpress.com or wpengine.com and compare which one you think is affordable to you. Source: about 1 year ago
It is using WP Engine (wpengine.com), which apparently uses GCP. Source: about 1 year ago
It appears that WP Engine does not allow the use of VS Code Remote SSH in their environment because their server does not allow port forwarding (However, it seems that /usr/local/etc/ssh/usermode_sshd_config allows it). - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
Check wpengine.com , pressable.com too. Source: about 1 year ago
WP Engine – Also very popular. They offer a wide range of features, including automatic backups and security. They also have a team of experts who can help with any WordPress issue. Source: over 1 year ago
I'd actually not recommend AWS for this. There are multiple shops out there that specialize in nothing but high-scale / secured Wordpress hosting. The one I'm most personally familiar with is https://wpengine.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
Managed https://wpengine.com Starting at $20/mo but will do almost everything for you and has excellent support. Source: over 1 year ago
I have a hate for managed hosting. Many of them limit you on some plugins. An example would be wpengine.com's page of disallowed plugins. Now, they are entitled to have an opinion on their servers. However, I have this distaste for the hosting provider to remove stuff from my servers. As long as I follow TOS, they shouldn't have a touch on my site. Source: over 1 year ago
Meh. Using hardcore WP expert hosting companies like https://wpengine.com/ that do nothing but host high scale wordpress sites is an option. Source: over 1 year ago
For comparison have a look at https://wpengine.com/plans/. Source: over 1 year ago
If I have clients that are paying well, I usually go for https://wpengine.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
