• Where can I find a (free) 'translation' of the Timon of Athens speech?

  I was able to find a "translation" into modern English on No Fear Shakespeare (sparknotes.com) It was helpful. They had a summary, but they didn't have the Timon of Athens play. I am not able to find a 'translation' of Timon of Athens anywhere. Does anyone here know where I can find one? Preferably for free. Source: over 2 years ago

  Watch the plays, don't read them. When you get stuck or confused, pause the movie and look up the phrase you're confsued about, or the character. sparknotes.com is very good. Source: over 2 years ago

  Sparknotes.com It's a site to support studying literature. Has a complete rundown of plot, characters, themes, motifs, symbolism, etc., etc. Great site. I consulted it just the other day for Dracula. Was reading the book and wasn't feeling it. Read a bit on sparknotes and now Dracula is more interesting. Source: about 3 years ago

  If you want, you can check out the Spark Notes’s summaries online of those works as you read (just a couple of paragraphs about plot and theme), to get a feel for them. You don’t need to, but if you have truly never read them, it might be nice to have that. Source: about 3 years ago
