This is essentially a watered down version of the "MVC" architecture. I use http lib of node for server and requests, cheerio for webscraping and Sendinblue for sending the emails and mongodb (atlas) for storing all of the data. The only hitch so far is that improvmx.com does not do smtp for free. You have to pay for that, and god knows I am allergic to paying for stuff. Lucky sendinblue.com will let you send up to to 300 messages a day for free, so go and set up an account with them. Make sure to do the full set up or it will look like it is working but it will not work. Put in a business name (just say personal) and a street... Source: about 1 year ago
