I've been using player.fm. Will episodes no longer appear there? - Source: Reddit / 14 days ago
Player FM does those things https://player.fm/. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
I download my podcast from https://player.fm/. I just make sure to bring them into itunes to get them ordered correctly before putting them on my Shokz. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
Not on acast (like here: https://play.acast.com/s/rustyquillgaming) but if you use a podcast app / website (like spotify, player.fm, or google podcasts) you can sort oldest to newest, whether you're on phone or browser. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
I have only been experimenting with player.fm because there is only one macOS/iOS app which synchs playlists; but it doesn't synch their order. PlayerFM does that. - Source: Reddit / 6 months ago
I use player.fm and it can't load them either. This happens periodically. It takes a few hours for it to start working. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
If you listen on a non-spotify podcatcher (I use player.fm mostly but pocketcasts is also popular) you can set the time of the skip-ahead and skip-back buttons, which I can use the seek buttons in my car via bluetooth to control, so at least you could skip through them that way. Not sure if spotify has that option. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
I use player.fm for my cell and desktop (webapp) support. - Source: Reddit / 9 months ago
Player.fm though if you like it enough I would shill out the 11 bucks a year. - Source: Reddit / 9 months ago
Been using player.fm for years and no complaints at all, does all of this easy if anyone fancies a switch. - Source: Reddit / 10 months ago
I listen to Blair & Barker and At the Letters religiously, or I have for years until this year when all of a sudden those two casts will not play, are 'unavailable' even though Im subscribed to both, via player.fm where all my other podcasts play, no problems. - Source: Reddit / 12 months ago
Https://player.fm//fm.opml But it doesn't give you all your subscriptions. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
I use player.fm then when they get uploaded in reverse order you can tag each one with a left swipe to play in that order. So I just left swipe it in reverse and they play in the right order. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
A bit of a cottage industry springs up around your show in Google as soon as it starts being distributed - from podparadise to chartable to player.fm to listener-generated stuff (Reddit threads, tumblr art, pinterest). None of this stuff is bad for your show, but it's better if they're clicking through to you directly and immediately as their entry point. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
I use player.fm so all my links go through that. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
If the podcast is up on Player FM, you can right click/save as the play button and save that episode as an mp3. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
For podcasts I've used player.fm and Google Podcasts through the browser. I've found that certain web players will load for one dumbphone but not another, so it's a matter of trial and error. Not quite as easy as an app, but certainly usable in my experience. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
Depending on your specific situation there are podcasts geared toward helping after escaping N parents, or divorcing an N spouse. I have found a lot by searching "narcissistic parent" or "abuse survivors" on player.fm, just beware that there are a lot of podcasts, and just wider media within this type of community where "everyone is welcome" that reinforces N parents and abusers, too. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
I use player.fm for years and the ads have been going on for at least 4ish years (when the former president ran in 2016, they had his ads playing in between). You're just probably noticing now. I used to be in advertising, so my tolerance to ads is pretty low (I usually skip them if able to), but I have noticed this for a while now. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
Player.fm and my favourite podcasts are from a youtuber called Ali Abdaal he is very inspirational. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
Player.fm lets you create a free account, subscribe to any number of podcasts, and listen to them through their web app. You can also get their mobile app, and sign in to sync your subscriptions. You can also pay a subscription ($40/year) to sync what's played, and get some other features. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
