Pioneer is a fully remote accelerator. We fund projects and startups built by ambitious outsiders around the world. We provide a one-month remote accelerator program where our team mentors you with the basics of starting a business, as well as a community, network, and tools to support you. Occasionally we offer Pioneers the chance to advance to 3 bonus levels, with standard investments of $20k, $100k and $1M. Our application is an online game that is always open, and we accept new Pioneers into our program each month. Play now and join the Pioneer community!
I'm making a PaaS thingy / Docker Swarm GUI called Lunni. It helps startups, small businesses, and self-hosting enthusiasts deploy and manage apps on their own server: https://lunni.dev/ I've done a Show HN last month [1], but it didn't get any traction (well, apart from 4 upvotes!). Perhaps because I didn't really capture what the project is about. I've reached out to dang and he gave some really valuable... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

It's https://pioneer.app/ that reached out to me. They're an accelerator program based in Silicon Valley. Basically, if they approve my application I get $20k funding, 1 month in Silicon Valley, hundreds of contacts with OCEs and founders in the tech space, et al. In return, they get 2% equity in Apex. Then waiting to hear back from the folks at https://pioneer.app/ to see if I've been approved. They reached out to me a little under a week ago, said they found my site, and fast tracked me through the qualifying stage and to just go ahead and apply. Cool, fingers crossed. On that note, there's a company called Pioneer which is trying to do approximately this. They're not so much hiring devs from relatively poor countries as trying to help them to start companies, but definitely they're focusing on removing friction, providing money, advice, connections, etc. It looks promising! You hit a global shortcut and Devbook appears as an overlay over the currently active application. We couldn't do this with a website. We don't show any ads or resell any user information. The advertisement in our privacy policy is just a standard language for cookies when you... - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
