I am using the latest NES dat file (20230921-122515), and I am downloading the NES ROM set from here (https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets). This set is missing a few games detailed below. Does anyone have these ROMs they could share? I think the Super Sports Challenge one is truly MIA. However, I do not think the others are. I have found them on other sites (itch.io, Myrient). But the SHA hashes do not... Source: 7 months ago
Be aware that https://archive.org/download/no-intro_romsets/no-intro%20romsets/ contains the older sets... If you check out the links from the page https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets the links point out to this archive: https://archive.org/download/ni-roms/roms/. Source: 11 months ago
This only includes private aftermarkets, for the rest you need to also grab the complete public No-Intro romsets from https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets. Source: about 1 year ago
And another that seems to be preserving the remainder of aftermarket roms to keep the set complete. Source: about 1 year ago
For No-Intro romsets you can download them each as one zip file per system or individually here, make a Archive account or sign in with your Google account to unlock the files. Source: about 1 year ago
No-Intro ROMsets ReDump ROMsets No-Intro and ReDump are the two of the main trusted dumps of games. This specific No-Intro set aggregate requires you to make an account to access it which you should definitely do, but you can also just search “No-intro” or “Redump”. Source: about 1 year ago
I have a folder called "roms" with subfolders by No-Intro naming scheme so the Wii U folder would be called "Nintendo - Wii U". Since I always get the No-Intro / Redump roms. Basically I just remove the date from the zips from here: https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets. Source: about 1 year ago
I would always recommend just going to the main https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets which are updated more often too. But yeah the megathread link to the unheadered set is causing problems for some people. Source: over 1 year ago
You downloaded unheadered roms. Download the headered roms from here https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets. Source: over 1 year ago
I like this set the best. https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets. Source: almost 2 years ago
Absolute legend, it's sad that he is gone. SNES is still my favorite platform (I love iso-morphic view points). Just a few months ago I setup a retopie and did a play through of one of my favorite games, Secret of Mana 2, with a rom patch (http://ngplus.net/index.php?/files/file/28-seiken-densetsu-3-sin-of-mana/). I feel the rom hacking community is still going strong and some of you guys might find it... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago

Let's take this example: https://archive.org/details/no-intro_romsets Each set has a code right after the set title, which includes the Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minutes, Seconds (YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS) that reflects the database version that was used to verify the files, includes all ROMs, including all regions, aftermarket games, betas, protos, different revisions, it allows downloading entire set or individual files,... Yeah, just following the typical no-intro set naming convention like chadmaster does on archive. The FBNeo also has a date attached to it. It’s convenient when you want to match a dat file with a set. Source: almost 3 years ago
99% are shit. Download the no intro sets from here and run the scraper for 15 minutes. Source: almost 3 years ago
