  Ha be you checked out Melodics? It’s paid but has a free trial usually. I only recommend a paid app because I found it to be helpful and fun. I really liked it but it is really "gameified" so it's probably not the best way to learn if you want to focus on the theory.   Udemy has a course. I’m not sure which model you have but just so you know they also have it for the mk2 as well but basically this will help you have a better overall understanding of maschine. Producer Tech also has great tutorials for all kinds of programs and specific genres like you’re looking for. This has been the most helpful for me.   As for the software... Instead of a DAW, why not start your child with education software. Something like Melodics. I think if you give that a look, you'll see what I'm pointing you towards.   For me, I started using Melodics. I've fallen behind on it but I've been trying to pick it back up. I did use it for a solid 6 months or so when I first found it and it helped at least do basic chords and some very simple two handed stuff.   With the focus of the marketing on learning and a proposed price point that matches other learning services not other games I was expecting more focus and structured learning.
