  • Does anyone own Memory's legion Audio on CD, or know where I can find a track listing?
I checked gnudb.org and it didn't have a listing either. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Batch Renaming Tracks
    1) Go back to your original source CDG discs and re-rip all the tracks using Audiograbber with the Freedb link pointing to gnudb.org. This would automatically name all your tracks. It would take some time to re-rip your original CDG discs but it would be a lot easier than any other method to rename each file. Source: over 1 year ago
  • WTF??? I was going through my old pile of discs on my sister's laptop, and this happened, kde ubuntu 22.04
I was going off of the first line of text that you find on their website,. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • WTF??? I was going through my old pile of discs on my sister's laptop, and this happened
I can't imagine a passive online database deleting files. If something did delete files, it wouldn't have been gnudb.org, it would have been software installed locally. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • WTF??? I was going through my old pile of discs on my sister's laptop, and this happened, kde ubuntu 22.04
It explains itself in every file name: http://gnudb.org/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • WTF??? I was going through my old pile of discs on my sister's laptop, and this happened, kde ubuntu 22.04
Looks like it might of been an attack, based on http://gnudb.org/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • [Music] CDDB/Gracenote: money messes up a simple, free service
Finally, René Mogensen started GnuDb in 2006 to ensure FreeDB's data remained free and... it's still up? Good for Mogensen! But... I don’t use it. And that foreshadows the real end of the story. Source: over 2 years ago
  • cd2netmd - a command line tool for Windows to rip CD directly to NetMD.
It tries to collect CD information for the disc on gnudb.org, rips the CD and transfers the track to the MD and names it. So it tries to do, what NetMD Simple Burner once did. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is GD3 safe?
Why do you need to use another service? The freedb database was mirrored at gnudb.org https://hardforum.com/threads/how-do-i-get-cddb-to-work-with-eac-now.1998971/. Source: over 2 years ago
