Please upgrade to the latest version from zotero.org.". - Source: Reddit / 28 days ago
It's not a collection of sources or anything, but one resource I would like to recommend is Zotero. It's a note-taking and bibliographical organization tool. You can sort books and articles into folders given a topic, and apply tags. It helped me immensely while I was in college one thousand years ago. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
Why do any manual formatting of references? Zotero (zotero.org) is free, works on windows, macos, and linux, works with ms word, libre office writer, and google docs, and works with firefox, chrome, and safari. 1-2 minutes to download & install, 5-15 minutes of watching the tutorial videos, and then do your citations & references with just a few mouse clicks (apa, mla, chicago, journal specific formatting, etc.). - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
This is a little more specific, but if you write papers a lot as part of your work/school, Zotero can save you a ton of time (and errors) by auto-generating a bibliography. You can add articles from the website that they're on automatically, and then they're just in your library, where you can search for them based on whatever you remember about the title/authors/etc. :). - Source: Reddit / 6 months ago

If stuff seems to sit in my tabs for too long, I can send the link... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
I’ve seen a handful of this kind of “Google, but only for things I’ve seen before” app. I think it’s something the world needs, but there are a lot of different approaches and I don’t think anyone has quite nailed it. Ultimately the best solutions will likely use many different cataloging strategies depending on the content, and will allow you to tag or otherwise organize important content. Funny enough if I had... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
I love Pinboard but it's more about storing a library of hundreds or thousands of links, not a handful of bookmarks you use regularly. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
Yeah I think OP basically wants https://pinboard.in, or possibly just browser bookmark syncing. https://www.Firefox.com supports syncing bookmarks between Firefox browsers on different devices. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
If it has to be free, https://raindrop.io. If you’re willing to pay, https://pinboard.in ($22/year). I’ve had my Pinboard account for almost a decade now and it’s an amazing investment. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
