You can make an account on zoocasa.com and look at sold prices. There's not a lot because they only show the prices for houses sold privately by companies such as purple bricks, but at least it gives you an idea. Source: about 3 years ago

You should be able to find something between streeteasy.com, renthop.com, and zillow.com. All three also have the option of looking for No Fee apartments. Source: 10 months ago

There's a great website: renthop.com that I used to find off campus housing around the campus at the last minute. My roommates however had panicked way in the beginning because they thought we wouldn't be able to find a place, and instead got a spot where they're both paying $800 per person, per room, not including some utlities instead of sharing an apartment/townhome together as planned.
