I think Zenfolio https://zenfolio.com is great! You can create a website of your own, as well as have password protected client galleries. It also integrates seamlessly with MPIX and Bay Photo which both have great products! There have been and still are lots of apps that do this very thing from various angles. Unfortunately, my favourite apps are no longer supported. They were: Dreamweaver; and PHPed. I would suggest checking out BlueGriffon for example. Source: about 1 year ago
