To be honest, YouTube is not only a platform where you can watch /download the video ,but a wonderful field where you can share and grow personally and help oher people to flourish through sharing your vision , art ,creativity ,etc.
I like the idea of YouTube serving as a search engine and an entertaining feat

This is basically how product photography works if you’re on a budget. You keep the camera fixed in place but adjust the lighting between shots. Then, in post, choose your favorite components of each image and composite them together in Photoshop. I like watching a YouTube channel called “workphlo” that does this. The core process is the same for all of the items, but it’s quite enjoyable to see him vary the... - Source: Hacker News / 3 days ago

Just get some popular streamers/channels to do a review/let's play and if they like it you'll get tons of free exposure. I've spent probably hundreds of dollars on indie games in the last year or so from first seeing them on a gaming channel and then pulling it up in steam. Channels like Splattercat are a great resource for indie gamers & studios alike: https://youtube.com/@splattercatgaming. - Source: Hacker News / 4 days ago
I suggest checking out Jaka Parker's video. He's a diplomat that can go to places where most tourists can't. It plays over Snapcast which streams over the network to multiple devices in the home with independent volume control. I can fire up the Snapcast client in my phone to get it going there as well, which does work over vpn if I'm away, though I generally just fire up the files from my phones... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Could instead use Mopidy as the music player, which has plugins for Spotify and Airplay support. Source: about 1 year ago
Thanks! I use it on a daily basis, but I don’t think it’s ready for a wider adoption yet — for example, a pause button is still missing ... I’d be curious to know your experience with it though! For something more stable, you might like Mopidy. Source: over 1 year ago
