Yeah, for sure you can give It a try! Imo you have to use a lite desktop environment like xfce maybe . ZorinOS[0] is fantastic! I switched from Ubuntu too and it was surprising how polished ZorinOS was. Everything was super stable and in the last 2 years, it didn't break by itself, which I can't say the same for Ubuntu sadly.
