  • Emacs on Linux?
    When you say "Emacs on Linux?" and blames the GNU/Linux env for having not Emacs newest version it is not really the case. The issue is not in Linux env itself, but in Pop OS. I always easily get the latest stable version for Emacs with just Apt get install emacs But, my distro is based on Debian unstable for many years now and I never had a difficult issue that could not be fixed.
