Our app puts three core values to the fore: simplicity, visualization, and consensus.
By creating an infinite canvas where cards, much like sticking notes, resemble a neatly organized collection of inter-related ideas. They serve as units of thoughts with clear borders, displayed on a squeaky-clean white canvas.
To preclude the document from becoming messy as the number of cards augments, we betted on functions that are clear-cut and intuitive. They include drag’n’drops; deep dive; tabs within a document; embedded pictures, videos, and links; sub-pages. As a result, the users get a well-organized, easy-to-navigate space.
Rather than providing bits and pieces of scattered information, the tool gives you a bird’s-eye view of the cards, creating the big picture.
Pillared by simplicity and visualization, the app offers a collaborative space for teams to work together in real-time, sharing cards and elaborating on ideas.
xTiles App 4thewordsI switched from Notion because xtiles is a simple but powerful tool for knowledge management. It's not about functionality, but about use cases, that both products help with. For instance, if you need to create a strict knowledge base for the team and save data, then the notion works. But if you want to save your knowledge and reuse it in the future - you'll definitely get more value using xtiles. Great product!

I would highly recommend xtiles. After trying, notion, obsidian, logseq, craft, anytype, slite, and many other alternatives, I decided to go for Xtiles. Yes, I'm the same way. Two things have helped me. 1. Using the Pomodoro technique. You can find timers online and they tick while you are doing whatever, which I find helps me stay on track. I do 30 minutes with 5 minutes break. 2. 4thewords.com is a really cool gamification system for writers. You basically fight monsters while you're writing. I use 4thewords.com with Scrivener for organisation and notes, but it really depends on what works for you. I like the gamification of 4thewords because it helps me focus, other people prefer options where they can completely turn off their wifi for fewer distractions. My word count went up substantially when I stopped commuting every day in March of 2020. These days I'm in the office 2-3 days a week, but I've kept the words up, and average about 2K a day (though there are days I do a lot less and some I do more). I draft on 4theWords, so there is a bit of gamification there - can I get through this word battle to defeat this monster, etc. Source: about 1 year ago
I use 4TheWords more often than some of the other ones lately, and it's sorta fun too. They've got a thirty day trial and plenty of events that give you additional time for free (especially NaNo). Also worth a check if some of the other software doesn't tickle your fancy. Source: about 1 year ago
