Generate Data might be a bit more popular than XenForo. We know about 14 links to it since March 2021 and only 10 links to XenForo. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

For the longer term migration options, I would like to recommend we set up a Xenforo forum one last time. It would be quick and easy to do, it's a well designed and maintained solution that has all the technical features we need and works well for communities like this, as demonstrated by the Spacebattles and Sufficient Velocity forums. Finally, this community will only be free of interference if we go to a place... Source: almost 2 years ago
Obviously forums aren't as popular as they used to be, so this topic might not be of interest to many. For folks that want to run a forum, they'd most certainly go with Discourse (Ruby), Flarum (PHP), Xenforo (PHP), NodeBB (Javascript), Nimforum (Nim) and maybe Casnode (Go). Source: over 2 years ago
For something simple, I'd look into bbpress. For something more complex (but that can still integrate with WordPress, check out Xenforo (my favorite) or Vanilla. Source: over 2 years ago
Obligatory Lobsters[0] link. You may know it well already though. If you really need to scratch that itch, maybe start your own community based around those topics? I wouldn't build it from scratch though, and use something like XenForo[1]. The web needs more forums, there's not enough of them around! When you're learning SQL or testing queries, having access to realistic mock data is essential. Tools like Mockaroo and GenerateData can quickly create large datasets that you can upload into your database. You can define custom fields like names, dates, and even randomly generated emails to match your needs. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Since you will almost certainly need data to work on, I recommend generatedata.com. Source: about 2 years ago

To play around with data generation and make a custom dataset I can recommend using — https://generatedata.com/. I’ve used it to generate 1🍋 records of the data. At the moment of writing this article, the basic yearly plan costs 25$ and you would not regret it. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
Good morning, I should populate my db with fake data and I tried generatedata.com and mockaroo.com but they both have limits on the number of rows (500 and 1000 respectively). Do you know of any site/software that allows me to produce fake data of 5000/10000 rows at a time? Thanks in advance. Source: about 3 years ago
