It supports ALAC. There’s a handy app called XLD (X Lossless Decoder) that will convert from FLAC to ALAC (and probably back) in a couple clicks if you need it. Take a look at XLD, it supports lossless formats (flac, alac, wav, aiff) as well as standard compressed formats. It also checks online services for metadata and album art. I ripped a ton of CDs with it. Source: 11 months ago
