It supports ALAC. There’s a handy app called XLD (X Lossless Decoder) that will convert from FLAC to ALAC (and probably back) in a couple clicks if you need it. I use dbPoweramp suite of software, it includes PerfectTunes which has the ability to do the album art as a large batch of files. I think you can pay for perfectTunes separately. Anyway, it’s almost automatic , just have to double check it got the correct album art before fixing the files. Source: about 2 years ago
