Get yourself a tutor. wyzant.com has online tutoring and would be a good place to start. Source: about 1 year ago
Yea if you go to wyzant.com and search organic chemistry you'll see a ton of other tutors who already teach that subject, and you can see what rates they charge. Look for someone who has similar experience to you in orgo and plan on charging a little less (since you need to attract your first students). Once you sign up you might have to take a quiz but other than that it's pretty easy to get set up. Source: about 1 year ago

I started years ago using wyzant.com. It was a good start because they do the marketing for you and you can set your own prices. However, they take a pretty large cut. I am a new parent and I have not yet had a babysitter (baby is 6mo old) but I was looking at urbansitter.com and it looks like around $100/year for the site membership fee and around $30/hr for a local babysitter. Source: over 1 year ago
Find nanny's at the park, use care.com or urbansitter.com they do background checks, you can interview them and do a meet and greet and get recs. Source: about 2 years ago
We tried care.com, urbansitter.com, a nanny agency, the doula network, a local facebook group, and word of mouth. We interviewed a bunch. The number one issue was that we were not willing to pay them under the table but needed part time help. We were willing to pay extra, but nannies didn't even know how much extra to charge, they just didn't want the work. Source: over 2 years ago
