I've now found the name of the hotel, it's called Royal Paradise Phuket, but I'm still a bit skeptical as, the website (wotif.com) is saying it's only going to be around $550 Australian dollars for 6 nights, whereas most other websites are saying it's around $2000 for the same thing. I've not been on a flight since I was a kid. I'm sure this post will help a lot of people out. Where do I see flight prices and book? I used to use the site wotif.com which I did for my mum when she travelled, but is that still a good site to use for finding the best prices? I would agree that Afterpay do not have a sustainable competitive advantage here.. They might make money for a decade or so until they get bought out, or their market share is consumed by another financial institution with more firepower. If you've got a list and time, stalk something like dealcatcher.com or some other daily deals website. When you spot something on your list, you can compare prices on that one item and if it's a good deal, pull the trigger. If not, keep waiting. Source: about 2 years ago
