I just recently received an email, asking me to join TELUS International's Labor Cloud on WorkMarket. While the link directs to the legit workmarket.com platform, the Labor Cloud posts there barely contain any info to go by. As for the Labor Cloud posts themselves, there were plenty, some of which are as recent as today. Source: about 1 year ago

I use http://workmarket.com to find side IT gigs. Nothing WFH. Lots of networking gigs. I use to be able to find weekend PC deployment gigs but those have been pretty dry since the pandemic for obvious reasons. Source: over 2 years ago
Gigs from fieldnation.com or workmarket.com can often lead to full time tech work. Networking, desktop support, equipment install/repair though, not development work. Source: over 2 years ago

If you get an order on any of them double down on it. Cold reach-out works, but you've to show something to them as a portfolio. Instagram is a good place, as I did. Source: 10 months ago
If my subscribers and views were multiplied by 100, it would have become a part-time job. I would be declaring income on my tax form, and keeping track of expenses. I might be considering hiring part-time editors on freelancer.com, but since they'd be independent contractors, they'd be just an expense to me. They'd be responsible for their own taxes. I worked on freelancer.com for 3 months doing mostly side gigs. WIth the payment, it wasn't much of an issue for me. The first payment indeed, it was more "special", as in, it took 2 months until I got the money in my account. But any other payment after that, were processed within days (at worst). I had some other issues (due to the country I'm working from), like my VISA card not being accepted so I had to do... Source: 10 months ago
I once posted on reddit my thoughts on freelancer.com and I assume, that it does not have a high reputation among other redditors. I am also waiting for payment since two weeks. Other than that, I think that the layout looks... Source: 10 months ago
