At $work we instantiated a lufi instance (in DMZ, subdomain DNS record, reverse-proxied) in order to allow our users / developers / projects managers to share files with our customers, just giving to them an HTTPS link. This solution may respond to your needs, too. Source: 11 months ago
I have spun up Gokapi - which works a treat. However it requires a login - so is great for files going the other way. Have also looked at Lufi [doesnt require a login for end user but no way to randomly generate link (that I know about?) - worried about being spammed to oblivion] and ProjectSend [total overkill for my needs, but very cool - also requires a login for end user].
