  Totally regional dependent. Check out the website 'winnie.com'. If they serve your area you can see which daycares have 'openings available now'. In my area major metropolitan there are a ton of openings - you call them a year in advance and they say 'call me a few months before'.   3.The only way I've come across to document the amount of time spent is to use timesheets or time tracking softwares. Some examples of time tracking softwares are Toggl, Hubstaff, and Time Doctor.
