Totally regional dependent. Check out the website 'winnie.com'. If they serve your area you can see which daycares have 'openings available now'. In my area major metropolitan there are a ton of openings - you call them a year in advance and they say 'call me a few months before'. But if there are openings you can always waitlist if you see one you really love but send them somewhere else with immediate openings... Source: 10 months ago

I have 3 young kids of my own and have spent much of the last 7 years finding and managing child care for my family. Several of my friends are directors or employees working in child care, and more recently I joined a child care marketplace company that helps providers find clients (see winnie.com to create a web presence, find clients, and hire staff). I used the site ezcater.com for my son's birthday last year. It basically connects you with local restaurants that will cater, in an easy to visualize format. I found it helpful! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Source: 11 months ago
Plenty of restaurants cater for as few as 15 people. Check out ezcater.com and filter by number of people. Source: over 1 year ago
I'd post in your local bride/wedding group and explain what's going on. Luckily you're in a major metro area so there will likely be a lot of caterers, including restaurants, and someone is bound to have availability. I found ezcater.com to be a solid resource - you can just get a list of caterers in the area and reach out one by one. Source: almost 2 years ago
