Despite what the page says, the file in question is actually a .img file, which won't be accepted by most programs out of the box. To convert it into a more usable .iso format, I would recommend using WinCDEmu for Windows, but other CD-related tools should be able to do the job as well. I downloaded Preinstalled ZIP folder (2.26GB) and used WinCDEmu (an open-source CD/DVD/BD emulator) to mount the file. This is because the games were originally released on CDs or DVDs. For OSX there is homebrew or pyenv (pyenv is another solution on Linux). As pyenv compiles from source it will require setting up XCode (the Apple IDE) tools to support this which can be pretty bulky.
