It's the same as the image available on wikiart.org. Source: 11 months ago
  • Any website that allows me to see a zoomed in version of a painting so that I can see the actual texture of the paint?
In my experience it can be very difficult to get even decent scans of many paintings. I've had a bit of luck with wikiart.org on occasion. The ARC also has some serviceable images. Apparently you can pay for access to higher quality scans, which I haven't tried myself but it's an option. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Yo there! My friends like the colors, but don't get what they're looking at. Is it confusing? Feedback would be lovely~! ^u^
The other individual is tight that the lightning lends to the confusion; however, lightning creates depth and depth is only one way to present clarity. I would recommend heading over to a website like WikiArt then head to styles and browse art from 'Cubism' and 'Surrealism'. Line weight, line direction, implied lines, color contrast, and so forth are all ways that you can create clarity. I like that there's... Source: about 1 year ago

If you want art/artists that pushes the Magic boundaries a bit I'd recommend wikiart.org. You can look for art based on art movements and genre and find some cool people. If you find artists you really like there who are still alive, find their website and then you have a goldmine. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Something similar to Muzei on windows?
I like to use Muzei on my android device and get every day a new painting. Is there something like it for windows? I have tried an app called John’s Background Switcher for Windows, but I did find any rss to configure with that. I've seen that Muzei for android use wikiart.org publications. Is there some app to get the daily wikiart publications? Source: over 1 year ago

  • Suggestions about where to find high quality religious imagery
Artfinder.com is interesting, although it seems they deal mostly in contemporary artists. Check out etsy as well--lots of good handmade items there. On another note, I was in Austria recently and got a couple hand made statues from wood in Salzburg. Sorry I don't have a name but you can google for hand made statues or icons. Ebay can be a source as well of used items. Source: 11 months ago
  • Facts and Figures - Selling Abstract Art
Look at artfinder.com, go to the galleries in your area. Find stuff like yours. Look into the psychology of how colors make us feel as well as the symbolism of color i.e. yellow=fever or cowardice, red=blood/passion, green=growth, money. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • looking for artist for character sketch
Check out artfinder.com apparently you can search artists and set a budget for how much YOU want to pay and find someone that way. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Artwork for large living room wall
And in case you don't know them already, sites like art.com, artfinder.com, and a lot of home decor places have decently priced art. there's always etsy, as well! Source: over 2 years ago
