Which paid services are you referring to? It is likely that these services aren't distributing the projects they are based on, if so, then they are in compliance with the licenses of the open source projects, which don't require attribution unless you distribute them. As always, I appreciate the work you do to share the information you share here. I, too, setup alerts for topics I'm interested in years ago, but figured I'd have a look at their alerts page nowadays. For starters, the google.com/alerts page is blank basically, so sending someone there could be confusing. Instead, be aware that you'll need a Gmail account to use alerts, or if using a non-gmail, it will prompt you... Source: about 1 year ago

The only thing you can do is ignore them, anything else is kicking the can down the road as you cannot meet their demands forever. You should run a virus scan on every device you use and implement unique passwords for each account + two factor authentication everywhere.
