  As for music, I use a spotify premium account to do a remote listening session. It's been my best solution so far. A friend of mine uses watch2gether.com, its a great free option to integrate music and video streaming. It's not ideal for a whole host of reasons, if you ask me, but it IS free and simple. It helps a lot!   The method that seems to work most reliability with all devices and all ecosystems is a Zigbee2MQTT software hub running on a computer alongside Home Assistant. The Z2M project has a list of compatible USB dongles which are typically around $20-30 (The Sonoff being a good one) but you still need a server (i.e. a small computer like a thin client or raspberry pi) and install and configure the software, so this...
