How would you describe your primary audience?

Watch my SSL's answer

Our primary audience includes web developers, small to medium-sized business owners, and IT professionals who are responsible for managing multiple domains. These individuals require a simple yet effective way to manage SSL certificates without manually tracking expiration dates.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Watch my SSL's answer

Watch my SSL is built on AWS Lambda for scalability and reliability, using Python on the backend and simple basic HTML on the frontend, with some minimal JavaScript for the interactions, since the bulk of the work is done on the backend.

What's the story behind your product?

Watch my SSL's answer

As a SaaS developer, I maintain multiple websites, each with different technologies and infrastructure types underneath. While they're all on auto-renew cycles for their SSL certificates, stuff happens now and then, and more than once we've woken up to user complaints about one of our websites not being accessible to our users. Sure enough, it was an expired SSL certificate, and the fix was simple, but not without losing all our traffic in the meantime, and the trust of our users. In order to prevent this from happening again, we created an external service to monitor our certificates. Since we realized that others might be on the same boat, we decided to make it a public service available to anyone.

  • Watch my SSL - launching and looking for feedback
I just launched https://watchmyssl.com to track the expiration date of my websites' SSL certificates, so they don't go dark without me noticing. It's happened a few times in some of my websites, and it's super frustrating. Source: 9 months ago
  • Sharing my micro-SaaS: WatchMySSL.com
Hi everyone, earlier this week I launched https://watchmyssl.com as a way to track the expiration date of my websites' SSL certificates, so they don't go dark without me noticing. It's happened a few times in some of my websites, and it's super frustrating to consider how many visitors I may have lost until I (or more frequently a potential customer) noticed. • Skiff Mail
Hey, I'm looking for an in-depth analysis of the security Skiff Mail. Pros and cons, arguments for and against, all the stuff. Couldn't find anything conclusive online (since it's relatively new) except what I could dig myself: WHOIS data, hardenize.com results, etc. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I must announce the immediate end of service of SSLPing
Https://hardenize.com is quite pretty, but there's nowhere near $999/mo of value in it for me! - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • I must announce the immediate end of service of SSLPing
It does a little more and little less. More: Enter a list of (sub-) domains and get informed via email when "SSL things" change (for better or for worst), or your https certificate is about to expire. Less: No fancy pansy "report" Personally I prefer https://hardenize.com nowadays, over ssllabs for these kind of queries. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • If the email I sent is in the Sent box, did it 100% get delivered?
If you have a custom email with ProtonMail you can check your setup on hardenize.com. That's what I use to make sure everything is set up correctly. Source: about 2 years ago
  • CryptoLyzer: A comprehensive cryptographic settings analyzer
There are many notable open-source projects (SSLyze, CipherScan, testssl.sh, tls-scan, …) and several SaaS solutions (CryptCheck, CypherCraft, Hardenize, ImmuniWeb, Mozilla Observatory, SSL Labs, …) to do a security setting analysis, especially when we are talking about TLS, which is the most common and popular cryptographic protocol. However, most of these tools heavily depend on one or more versions of one or... - Source: dev.to / about 4 years ago
