waifu2x VS Toonify

In an effort to restore them as much as I could, I used a combination of waifu2x ("Single-Image Super-Resolution for Anime-Style Art using Deep Convolutional Neural Networks"), Clip Studio Paint resize/cleanup tools, and manual cleanup done by hand. Obviously most people's games doesn't want photo-realism, but one can throw it through https://toonify.photos/ and see if I'm happy with the results. For 3 pounds I can get unlimited SD quality conversions, but I need decent quality inputs to use... Source: about 2 years ago
