I've been using WACUP, it's really good: https://getwacup.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 17 days ago
I use the community update of Winamp, WACUP, and it's excellent. I've tried other media players but always come back here. I'm not even one of those people who likes the shitty visualisations, I just think the interface works perfectly. https://getwacup.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 17 days ago
Obligatory mention of the current fork of winamp: WACUP https://getwacup.com/ Based on core that was open sourced around Winamp 3 DrO one of the ex devs is gradually re-implementing all the other parts. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
FWIW, a reimplementation is available: https://getwacup.com/ (I'm unsure how long it'll last) Nevertheless, This may a good time you get to say bye-bye to Winamp. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago

I might then take any of the tunes that I find, plug them into Magic Playlist and then flip through the suggested tracks... Source: over 2 years ago
MagicList will do that for you. I can't recall if it'll make a direct connect with Apple Music or if you have to import it from Spotify using SongShift. Source: almost 3 years ago
My kids have completely fucked the algorithm listening to their shite, so I abandoned it a while back and now when I'm looking for new music I use this - you can create a new playlist based on a track you like and it'll push it straight to Spotify: https://magicplaylist.co/.
