• Looking for a VPN that allows me to exclude websites from VPN and all content within them

  For example areena.yle.fi, it has videos that are geoblocked from everyone outside of Finland and videos are hosted at various other sites. Adding areena.yle.fi to my exclusion list doesn't help, the videos still don't work. I have tried this with Surfshark and vpn.ac, I have to disable VPN completely to get the videos working.   I would recommend you to get FLINT from gl-inet. It supports both OpenVPN and Wireguard. I am using it with ProtonVPN, tested it with mullvad and vpn.ac as well. Source: over 1 year ago

  +1. I've used express, vpn.ac, and Astril. Astril is by far the best. You have occasional issues but for the most part it is extremely reliable and fast enough to watch netflix/youtube. Source: almost 2 years ago

  I moved from vpn.ac to Astrill a few years ago and I have no regrets. It may be a bit more expensive than the others but is a VPN really something that you want to go cheap on? You can try express. A friend of mine uses something called shadowsocks which isn't exactly a vpn but it is ... I didn't understand it. Just pay the money and get a reliable vpn bud lol. Source: almost 2 years ago

  How you connect to your modem will depend on the device you are using, but for windows laptops as an example you download the OpenVPN program and input your modem details there, much like you would any other vpn service. • Is it possible for a sysadmin to block only some packets from a VPN connection ?

  I too haven't used the client-nat directive in some years (I currently implement 1:1 NAT with pfsense to access my network because I'm too lazy to change the networks subnet from the default) so I decided to retest and it does appear that OpenVPN Connect clients do not properly support the client-nat directive but the traditional OpenVPN server/clients still do.
