  • Windows is not bad - it's a matter of familiarity
For instance, many Linux users bash (sic) Windows because it only supported virtual desktops since very recent versions (8, I think). But that is false. You could totally have virtual desktops since Windows 98. You just had to install a third-party application for that. It is no different than having to install, say, Gnome to have a desktop on Linux. • What are the benefits of using Linux over other operating systems?
Since Windows 98. It has been decades, not years. Source: over 2 years ago
  • How i have used 9 layers of the keyboard (for those who wonder why anyone needs that many layers
Qwety layer Numpad layer aroww key layer Two layers are based on virtuawin. One one the fact I type using the colemak-dhm layout. Two shift layers I will replace with shit + function and alt + function keys. The mouse layer is largely novelty but if the cursor is close the I will use it as realigning my fingers with keyboard is annoying. Source: about 3 years ago

  • I need to liven this space up. What can I add other than plants?
I like having "flameless" candles around. There are some good ones out there. Look up "Flameless Candles & Battery Candles" on qvc.com for some ideas. Source: 8 months ago
  • WHY DID QVC MAKE A MOVIE??
Is QVC+ a part of their online streaming platform? I live outside the US, so my only channel access is what they have on qvc.com. Oh man, I hope I can find it...will definitely do a reaction for it. Source: over 1 year ago
  • eBay Tracfone bundles seem to now all be used phones?
I just picked up an A02s from qvc.com for $93 with 1 year of service (1500min/1500txt/1.5GB data like ebay). Used a coupon code FRIEND for $10 off. The bundle before tax and shipping is about $88. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Web Design Mockup Feedback
I’m currently interviewing for a web design position and the next phase has me mocking up a redesigned qvc.com homepage as part of their design challenge for consideration of employment. It’s due Thursday and I wanted to get as much feedback as possible before submitting, so any professional input from fellow designers in the web/UI field would be greatly appreciated. • Affordable phone plans/provider for someone who's never paid monthly?
If you need a new phone to go with the new service with low use, I recommend Tracfone bundles from hsn.com, qvc.com, and the Tracfone eBay store. The bundle includes a phone, 1200-1500 units of talk minutes, texts, data MB, and a year of service time. There is usually also a basic case and car charger. Various phones are available for $50 and up for the bundle. Source: almost 3 years ago
