Hey all. My forgetfulness 🤦♂️ has caused me to miss Showoff Saturday several weeks in a row, so I’m super glad that I’ve remembered this week. VidEarth is a platform for virtual “travel”. It lets you click dots on a map to view footage from that exact spot. It’s a great alternative for seeing cities in person, which many do not have the recourses to do. Source: over 2 years ago
Each of the blue dots are clickable and let you see videos from that exact spot. It's pretty "amazing" as you can use it to virtually travel without leaving your seat. It's great for getting the different "vibes" from a city. For example, I like to analyze the difference between the English countryside, and say a metropolitan neighborhood in New Delhi India.
