It's great that you are taking initiative! In my experience, SQL isn't commonly used with most entry level CSM roles. I have used it in the past to pull data, but teams are increasingly moving towards BI tools like Looker and Tableau which makes it easy for less-technical team members to get the data they need. Plantuml is amongst the best there is. kroki.io has a sandbox for it Mermaid.js can do it in notion, it works as well as any other mermaid. Dbvisualizer is fantastic if you have an existing schema in a db instance. you may need the trial license to render the diagrams. Source: 11 months ago
