I dunno an easy way to do it with bare Illustrator but I use the Smart Point Removal Brush in Astute’s VectorScribe plugin a lot. There’s a couple more tools for point removal in that plugin that might fit your workflow better, the brush is the one I like. Source: almost 3 years ago
You can use the Measure tool (hiding under the eyedropper in the toolbar). Astute's Dynamic Measure tool (part of Vectorscribe) may be useful here too if you feel like paying for plugins, it can have multiple measurements floating around on the canvas, as well as measure the distance of a path. Seems like a considerable upgrade from PlanUML (https://plantuml.com/ - which is amazing, but sometimes you just can't seem to be able to align the stuff the way you want too). - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
Plantuml is amongst the best there is. kroki.io has a sandbox for it Mermaid.js can do it in notion, it works as well as any other mermaid. Dbvisualizer is fantastic if you have an existing schema in a db instance. you may need the trial license to render the diagrams. Source: 11 months ago
