The video revolution that started in the mid-2000s has stalled-out, with the very platform that started it alienating viewers and creators alike. Utreon is the first credible challenge to the status quo, with a focus on innovative features, community engagement, reasonable policies, and privacy.
Utreon is still in the Beta phase as of June of 2021. So comparing it to Vimeo is like comparing a pedigree puppy to a full blown show dog. Utreon's strength is in its potential.
Based on our record, Yousician should be more popular than Utreon. It has been mentiond 14 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I wrote an article on Medium on Utreon, a free-speech YouTube alternative that is currently in beta, but you can send a proper email to the people in charge to set up your channel on their platform. They can even sync your YouTube channel to the platform with your videos being copied over to their platform in case anything happens on YouTube. If you want to try it out, here is the url: https://utreon.com/. Source: almost 2 years ago
I've seen some movement (e.g Forgotten Weapons) towards Utreon, which combines patreon-style subscription with video hosting. Source: about 2 years ago
Now that the dislike button has been removed, for anyone thinking now is a good time to leave YouTube, there’s a platform called Ultreon with a user interface very similar to YouTube’s, especially from 2014-2016ish, with almost none of the restrictions. No ad support at this time but they are working on acquiring that and only need more users on their website Https://utreon.com. Source: over 2 years ago
I think I found today what I am looking for. https://utreon.com/ looks to be a close contender to what I seek. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
Utreon.com could be an option. One thing is, my ad blockers run so deep that if they are throwing ads willy-nilly onto videos I would likely not be able to tell, same as youtube. Source: almost 3 years ago
Have you ever tried https://yousician.com/ It teaches you the basics, scales, chords and everything in between plus you can learn popular tracks at your pace and the program adapts to your skill level. They have a free trial. I use it to learn piano and ukulele. Just sign up, download their app on your laptop, phone or tablet (the bigger the display the better) and place that device near the instrument you are... Source: 10 months ago
Https://yousician.com is the big I know of. It's not bad, expensive though. Source: about 1 year ago
YES! Learning any kind of instrument will help. I started learning the guitar last Feb. With this app https://yousician.com/ It's great because it will help you see if your timing is correct. They don't offer drums but they do have singing or even learning ukulele would help and isn't as expensive as buy a guitar. Source: over 1 year ago
Have you tried yousician? ( Not for all instruments). Source: over 1 year ago
Apologies in advance if this question is dumb or makes no sense. I saw an ad this morning for Yousician, and realized how much I missed having Rock Band as a direct “play along” type practice system. Does anything like this exist? Ideally something I can plug an e-kit into for feedback - you know, like how Rock Band worked. Source: over 1 year ago
